Some Illuminati Records Facts:

Originally, the label was started in 2004 by a couple of Underground house heads who just wanted an outlet to release material inspired by some great experiences while discovering House Music.

The first release was a one-off single available only on vinyl (Smokingroove - Other Kid's Moves / Sidestep 909). After that, the label resurfaced in 2007 exclusively on (the now defunct) Trax2burn digital download portal.

The label's main focus has always been (and always will be) releasing good music in an independent sense. Although primarily a springboard for Smokingroove's fresh material, many new artists have been brought to light via this label with many more to come.

Illuminati has grown into a globally-recognized name in it's own right, supplying DJs with quality material for the dancefloor and supporting a new breed of music lover.

In an already-saturated market, Illuminati Records strives to bring underground House music to the forefront, shedding some light on some real talent across the globe.

If you do a bit of a google or myspace search, you'll probably find a couple of other 'wannabe' labels calling themselves Illuminati Records. We're more than proud to say that we were not only the first, but the biggest and still the original.
